Meet Rachel Stern
Alef (1st grade) teacher…
Rachel is a native of the Valley and a student at ASU where she is a Tourism Development and Management major. During high school Rachel worked as a Madrikha (Teaching Assistant) at Temple Beth Sholom in Chandler and Temple Solel. Prior to joining the teaching staff at Beth El Congregation, she taught first grade for two years at Temple Solel. For the last thirteen years she has been occupying all her free time with tap, jazz and lyrical dance, and has performed worldwide. We are grateful that Rachel has stopped her travels and is focusing on her studies at ASU and the youth at Beth El where in addition to teaching first grade, she is the Jr. USY Advisor and co-Advisor of Senior USY.
