Computer Lab, Special Needs, Tefilla & Music
Having a Special Needs program at Beth El Congregation, is something we all feel strongly about. We are fortunate not only to have congregational and community support in the development and continuity of the program but committed Talmud Torah teachers who are eager to refine their classroom skills to meet the needs of all of their students. Our Special Needs teacher/consultant is Shira James. Shira is an ASU graduate and works in Special Needs in the Tempe School District. She has been teaching in religious schools since she was a Freshman at ASU – at Temple Beth Sholom, Temple Solel and Beth El. This is her second year teaching at Beth El. We are fortunate to be able to have as caring, creative and knowledgeable teacher. Shira will be working closely with Tess Suchoff who is staffing our Computer Lab/Resource Center. Regretfully for us (but wonderful for Tess), Tess will be leaving the Arizona desert and going east to Brandeis University in January.
Your child’s class will be in the Computer Lab and may also have music scheduled. You can read the Music and Lab Schedule
