Meet Nora Elias
Gimel (3rd grade) teacher…
Nora, a native of Argentina also lived in Israel and New York before coming to the Valley. In Israel she studied at Machon Greenberg in Jerusalem. She actively pursues educational opportunities through NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) and CAJE (Coalition for Alternatives in Jewish Education). Nora is a very familiar face at Beth El – she has been a teacher at the Beth El Preschool since 1988. A decade later she joined the teaching staff at the Talmud Torah. Students in younger grades eagerly anticipate Nora’s warmth and energy – under her nurturing tutelage, our students’ knowledge of Hebrew which they began seriously studying in Bet (2nd grade) becomes firmly rooted as they begin to read prayers.
