Meet Jody Cohen Gordon
Hay (5th grade) teacher…
Jody is a native of Youngstown Ohio and a graduate of Youngstown State University. She successfully pursued a career in radio as New and Public Service Director, reporter and disk jockey. Jody lived and studied in Israel for two years. She is a graduate of W.U.J.S. (World Union on Jewish Students). Following her graduation she did voice work for Israeli computer and production companies. To our great luck, in 2003, Jody finally discovered her “Jewish niche” – teaching Hebrew and Judaic studies! Jody has achieved certification as a Hebrew and Judaic studies teacher thought the BJE in Scottsdale. Jody has been teaching at Beth El Congregation since 2004.
