Meet Leslie K. Feldman
Zayin (7th grade) teacher…
Leslie is a native of the Valley who returned to the desert after several years working and studying in New York, St. Louis and Washington D.C. During her travels, Leslie worked at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, PANIM: The Institute for Jewish Leadership and Values, and at the ADL in addition to teaching in religious schools. Leslie’s knowledge of Jewish history, familiarity with national Jewish programs and love of Judaism and children brought her to our middle school students last year. In a slight shift of Hebrew direction, drawing on Leslie’s experience teaching adult modern Hebrew classes, our seventh grade began learning conversational Hebrew in addition to studying prayers. We are fortunate that Leslie will continue bringing her knowledge and love of Judaism to our 7th graders.
When you have a chance, ask Leslie about kickball!
